We first installed this school’s playground and turf surfacing in 2016 when the building was constructed, and this year we returned to refresh and expand the space. The project included relocating one of the original structures to a new spot on the playground, adding more swings, new 2–5 play components, a Gaga pit, and extensive shade structures. Of all the updates, the shade quickly became the most appreciated and talked-about feature, transforming comfort and usability for students and staff alike.
