The North Charleston based magnet school for middle and high school aged students adds seating arrangements for students to work and congregate. Wabash Valley Site amenities included shaded tables, coordinating benches and waste baskets. This project took place in two phases, with Churchich Recreation and Design providing furniture and turn-key installation for the Center. The furniture is a great addition to the Center, and will facilitate outdoor socialization during free periods for students. The colors and pieces were selected by the Center’s administration in partnership with Thomas & Denzinger Architects from Charleston. Churchich Recreation and Design was contracted by the Charleston County School District through the Beaufort County School Districts ongoing contract, making the turnkey process smooth and swift.

Playgrounds for Pomaria-Garmany Elementary Schools in Pomaria, SC, using Miracle Play Systems. The full play ground system was configured in two scales to accommodate kindergarten and older children. Churchich Recreation & Design participates in buying agreements that offer competitive pricing to member school systems. This provides a seamless purchasing process, providing for a seamless procurement process and lower costs.

Churchich Recreation & Design provided new play areas at the new Pritchardville Elementary in the Beaufort County School District. The site features an elevated sand box, Miracle Playground equipment, durable picnic tables, trashcans and amenities to create a complete play experience at this new facility. The solution is part of a multi-year engagement with Beaufort County School District to provide outdoor equipment and supporting services for its member schools.

Wabash Valley tables and chairs were selected by Garvin Design Group of Columbia, SC. The furniture was chosen to complement the historic design of the building and for its durability in withstanding the elements for long-term, outside use. PVC coated material keeps the chairs and tables cool in the hot summer months even with the black color.

USCB South Campus is slowly transforming itself from a primarily commuter school to a full fledged on campus living university.

Part of that transformation is due to the construction of the new Student Center which not only offers dining for students faculty and outside public visitors, but also a fitness center, lounge space and social gathering space for the students to enjoy their college experience. As part of the new state of the art facility, an expansive outdoor patio space was designed for dining and relaxing. Part of the patio is enclosed by an iron fence, which allowed Green Line Architecture from Savannah to incorporate both low and bar height Urbanscape tables and unattached chairs. The non-enclosed patio space has 4-seat attached chairs to the tables along with umbrellas for shade form the hot SC sun. Both spaces are warm and inviting since we used the faux wood finish offered by the Urbanscape furniture. Finally, all of the furniture is aluminum so USCB was willing to purchase so many tables because they realized the durability of aluminum near the coast.
